I've sashed this ticker tape quilt from my guild challenge in that double-sided quilt as you go method in yellow on this side
Here's the results of those white on whites being overdyed. Very fun. Underneath those are three-half yard cuts of a Morris reproduction print by Barbara Brackman which my sister brought me from England. Thanks again!

Love your quilt. great way to use up scraps.
It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing! I guess there is a reason for why I'm saving all these little pieces!
I love your quilt! I'm with Jodi in saying there's a reason for saving all those little pieces. What fun to look closely and remember the various projects the scraps came from.
It turned out wonderful Brenda!!! I really like the look of it!!! 8-)
Thanks for the idea! I've got 6 or 7 shopping bags full of snips that are too small to use. (I take alot of ribbing for saving them, too.) I thought if nothing else I'd stuff it all into a floor pillow or two. Now I can use them for the more noble art of quilting!
Love your blog! Terri
What a great quilt. I love the colors. Brenda, you did a whole lot of sewing on this one!
I really like how the ticker tape quilt has come together! The sashing looks just right with the yellow. I hope you won't give it away until we can see it in person in September.
And I love the overdyed fabrics--what a great way to get coordinating fabrics! I wish I had more time to dye fabrics!
Your ticker tape quilt is amazing! I hope I have the energy to make one some day!
Wonderful. Looks like a mosaic.
Love the ticker tape quilt. I think I have instructions on two-color binding in a book. I'll take a look and let you know. I could photocopy the pages you need.
The over dyeing turned out great!
love the quilt - turned out fabulous!
Wow, what an amazing quilt! The yellow sashing is perfect. All the different styles of scrap layouts makes it even more interesting than if one person had made all the blocks. Your guild members will really enjoy seeing this.
Is it okay if I include it in the group quilt exhibit on the OnlineQuiltMuseum.com site? It would be perfect.
I like your overdyed fabrics with the dots. Can't wait to see what you do with that!
what gorgeous color!! as for the binding, i say mix the colors! i use multiple colors in the binding on quilts all the time, particularly when the quilt has a ton of colors, which all mine generally do. you can get away with it on a beautiful colorful quilt like this!
