I've been cutting up a well loved Liberty of London shirt for some new projects.
Inspired by an Dresden plate quilt I saw at a recent show, I made one plate and now I'm contemplating what's next.

My MIL, an avid quilter, use to walk up to ladies and comment on how pretty their blouse, dress, jacket was and how it would make a lovely quilt. Soooooo....I was at a parking lot sale and they had these 3xladies shirts at 3 for $5. I bought 3 all in on color and wrapped one up and took it to her. She opened it and ohhhhed and aweedddd over the blouse and said it would make a lovely quilt and then I handed her the bag with the other 2. We laughed about that for ages...
That's different - love the use of the doily in the centre. Will be intrigued to see where you take this project :)
