Home sweet home again
So I mixed up the houses, threw in a few string blocks and two words of the phrase home sweet home. or maybe there's no place like home. I'm resisting the temptation to shop for the perfect b/w and lime green print to fill in those empty spaces, and turning to the stash instead. I'm thinking of a black/white/lime green piano key border, but I'm open to suggestions.

it's wonderful
Wonderful! I like your idea.
Great mix of fun houses and colors. Love the combo of B&W with lime green. Resist buying and work with what you have. It makes it challenging but fun. Love the idea of piano keys.
You are so clever! Just looking at the houses makes me feel good and happy. 8-)))
It makes me smile.... the phrase that comes to mind with it, for me, given your hunt for fabric to use is "are we home yet?" :-)
This is so great, Brenda! Here I am fiddling with my house quilt pattern... Sheesh! I love that multicolored "waterdrop" fabric you have. And the one with the swirls. Curious what they'd look like as a small inner border or something. BTW, Are you doing any homework at all??? Read the Psalms blog yesterday. Nice.
these houses are so great - thanks for this excellent blog
