Trees in the Christmas forest

Sewing tree
7 by 9.6 inches
hand stitched
I turned a little package of sewing charms
into a little Christmas tree for my front hall Christmas forest.
I dug into my bag of wool fabrics for this one,
using a green felted wool from New Zealand and some red melton
left from my coat making days.

Here it is on the staircase wall with other Christmas tree quilts.

They grow opposite these trees.

Twelve trees of Christmas
15 by 20 inches
machine pieced and quilted.

This is one of my chevron tree quilts of this season

I started with 36 trees
and turned 12 into a table runner, still to be quilted
and the others into little candle mats.

I now have a nice collection of Christmas tree quilts
from over the years which you can see over here.

I'm linking up with other Friday finishers:

What a lovely idea to create an ongoing set of Christmas Tree quilts, and a great use of those sewing themed charms too!

Would love you to link up to our Ho, Ho, Ho and on We Sew Link Party which opens on the 18th of the month too:)
