Scraps and Strings: Window shopping

I'm making progress on my windows.

I'm finding I wasn't careful enough in making and folding

the framing squares and sometimes I have bulky corners

where the frames meet.

Any advice for me on that?

I cut 7.5 inch squares and sewed them by machine.
