Quick binding

I was reading a machine binding tutorial 

over at Lily's Quilts

just before I put on the binding on our collaborate Kenya quilt.

I agree with her method, except for one thing:

I don't use clips as I sew.

I just keep the binding in place with my fingers as I sew,

and use my awl to keep the mitre in place

when I turn the corner.

And now it's bound and ready for auction.
