A retreat friend graciously cut a bit of her nesting dolls fabric for me
(here it is alongside the half metre cuts of Kaffes I bought).
I ddn't have a plan for it until yesterday
when this beauty came to live at my house,
courtesy of a sale at Urban Barn
I'm thinking I'm going to mix up a tea cozy
so those Russian dolls can live permanently in my kitchen.
Yummy!

I love those fabrics!!! LOVE!!
Love your new tea pot...gorgeous color! I have a similar size and shaped one in bright dandy-lion yellow *VBS* What a great idea to use your special dolls fabric for a tea cozy!Hugs, Finn
Have always loved Matruska Dolls and have been wishing for some fabric with them on it, someday some of it will fall into my hands! Can hardly wait to see how your tea cozy turns out...
Happy sewing!
I am so nuts for those dolls. I bought a set when my oldest was 4, and had him wrap them and put them under the tree for me. haha ; ) Wanted them all my life.
Thank you for linking to TN&TN! Nice to meet you : )

You absolutely DO have a plan. Luv it!
Pretty fabrics. Love the doll fabric!! And I love your tea pot, too. I thought I was the only one who still used a tea cozy.
Perfect for a tea cozy! Can't wait to see it finished up!
That'll be a really sweet cosy!
Hey Brenda, love the melon coloured t-pot...I mourn my lovely china white, the lid was broken while residing unsuspectingly in the sink... might need to check out Urban Barn for a replacement...lovely nesting dolls, invite for a cuppa when it's done please.
