Zip to a giveaway

I made these little zip pouches out of a flag and text print last week for my mother.
She took them on her trip to China to give them away.
I also made a market bag from the same fabric.

Here's a journal cover I put together recently from some graphic prints
and a panel with women wearing different fruits and vegetables.
This didn't go to China, but to my quilty friend Cheryl, who celebrated a big birthday last week.

If you're still with me, I'll give away a zippy bag similar to the ones above
to any one of my followers.
If you've been with me for awhile,
just leave me a comment,
and if you've been lurking, join up and tell me you did.
I'll pick a winner on Friday, Oct. 28.

Love the bags and journal cover. I have been a follower of your blog for a while now but have been struggling with an overflowing work schedule and not enough time to be online.

I have been looking at you blog just a little while. I really, really love what you do with bits and pieces. Now I don't feel so alone in this madness we create with our quilting and sewing.
So I signed up for email and posted a link on my blog for this giveaway. I haven't been so good at blogging myself. I have to learn more of this linking and other stuff.

I am so glad I linked to your blog. Now I am going to spend some time looking back at all your posts.. Got a feeling I am going to learn a whole bunch of new stuff.

Love the little bags. Thanks Linda

OK So here I am again. I have been reading dozen's of quilting blogs lately and notice all the use of the Kaffee line of fabrics. I only have one really good quilt store near me. Is this fabric the latest and greatest. So many quilter's are using it. I get the bright colors, but so much abstract. I guess I am just out of style. I started over 20 years ago with mostly pastels. Then went to some darks due to a friendship with another quilter. I didn't quilt for a long time, due to work injury and that followed by some depression really did a number on me. Decided the depression wasn't worth all the trouble. Got back ,what for me was a salvation, quilting. Most of my material and related things are in storage and I can't get to them. But, I have been buying stuff when I can. The quilt shop here is big into Moda. I like the advantage of the pkg's for putting together of same fabrics. Guess now I will have to go and try to find some of this Kaffee fabric. Maybe start with a few piecess to see what all the rave is about. Didn't mean to make this so long. I am at home all the time by myself so I tend to rattle on when I get started.
Going to check our more of your 15 minute blog. Been looking and lurking, maybe I will join too.

Thank you for your blog and all your info.

I just had to laugh about your posting on the auto needle threader. I have had my machine probably 3 years or more now and just day before yesterday finally figured out how to use my auto threader.
