Vintage yard sale linen tablecloth + online directions on how to make a four-gore skirt
+ a few hours of cutting, sewing, and pressing
= summer skirt.
It's cool, it's lined with lightweight cotton (my test skirt) and it's comfortable.
But does it look like I'm wearing a tablecloth?

Very cute. I recently saw a movie "War Bride" in which the wedding dress was made from a tablecloth. Are you still working on your advanced degree?
