Totally thrilled and completely dotty
Houston, we have lift off! Two of my little quilts--Completely Dotty at right and Solidly Housebound in the post below--were among the 773 quilts sold at the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative booth at the Houston quilt festival. They have one more day to go and less than 300 quilts to sell. I'm glad to have been a small part of this venture. If you haven't tried making one, have a go. These 9 by 12 inch quilts are fun to make, and fast too.

That is just awesome!!!
9 x 12 - sounds like a nice little diversion from full-size quilts. Thanks for sharing.
Love them both!
Oh I love this little quilt! So wonderful it sold! Congradulations. It is a great project to support! I have a friend who is in research for Alzheimer's and just helped make some things for their "Alzheimer's Coffee" at the University she works at. Love your blog.
I totally understand - all six of mine have sold and I'm guessing Ami will be flying home with zero PQs in her suitcase (a WONDERFUL happening).
That's such good news. It's such a worthy cause.
