I'm at Houston this week
In spirit, if not in body, through two little Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative quilts that are being sold at the big Houston quilt festival. I made them earlier this year and they traveled to Houston without me. I've been just a bit green about all the great stuff I'm seeing about Houston, but it's nice to know part of me got to go. See the other Houston-bound quilt here.

Woohoo. Wonderful news!
Everyone is going to Houston, in one form or another, except me (sniff). Instead I'm drooling at all the photos appearing on Facebook and in Blogland and wishing I was there.
Everyone seems to having a ball.
A trip to the big Huston show is on my Bucket List. Maybe next year...
And I am still SO excited that I discovered 'you' were going along with 'us', yesterday. That made me so happy! As I said at the end of my post,
Hurray for all of us! We can only imagine what tales our little quilts have to tell!
Hey, I thought I was the only one at the pity party!! The pictures are fabulous and I'm glad to see them, but I sure wish I was THERE!! Ahhh...maybe next year...
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
I love the little quilts. I have one that is at Houston too. I can't wait to see how it does. Do you know the numbers for yours? We can track them. Mine is 4815 I think. Wish I was there too, a friend of mine went and I can't wait to hear all about it.
