I was patching some much ripped, well-patched jean for my son's trip to camp when these b/w print jumped onto the sewing machine.
And then a little typographical fabric for the bottom rip. These jeans only have to make it through the next week of adventure camp, but why not go with a bit of quilting style. My son raised his eyebrows in that indulgent teenage way, and took them anyway. I'm thinking the 14-year-girl holding up the back end of the canoe during the portages might like them. If not, I do!

Cute!
Done and great! I once found a patch that was shaped like a bandaid and sewed it on jeans. It worked!
You've given me an idea. DD fell and ripped the knees out of her fav jeans. I've been trying to repatch with denim, but it's not working. I've got some Kaffe stripes that Marit sent me which might just do the job!
Thanks for the inspiration.
Nice. If you have to mend, you might as well make it fun.
Dang, what's a 14 year old girl doing looking at your son's butt ;) Ok, so don't answer that ..ha!
