Rays of Hope

Here's a little quilt top for the Priority quilts challenge. I used up batik scraps and I hope to bead and hand quilt more rays on it. It's quick little project, since it only measures 8 by 11.5.

Very cute. Batiks do so well in Wonky Letters. Great color choices.

I saw Tonya's challenge the other day and thought about making one of these myself - I don't know if I'll have time but this looks wonderful...I love the star and the rays - perfect for the message of hope.

Beautiful- providing the sun is shining there is hope!

You asked on Tonya's blog about resizing photos for blogging. There is a marvellous piece of free software called Irfanview which lets you "resample" the photo small enough to load quickly, but big enough to look good. I think it's www.irfanview.com.

Fun...it'll be cool to see the beading too! Thanks for a "hope" reminder! :)
