Expanding the stash

I've been in an aquisitions mood this summer,

and I've got lots to show for it, including these goodies from a thrift shop.

The top piece is not from a thrift shop, but from a good friend

who snagged a piece of quilting linen for me on her recent travels.

My mom passed on these linen tea towels,

hand embroidered and starched and never used,

and I found the three yards of 40 inch wide neutral

for $4.

I also indulged in some novelties from the Vintage Scrapbook line by Benartex at a LQS.

Love, love, love the VW buses and the rotary dial telephones and the film.

All part of my life in the not-so-distant past.
