Freshly pieced strings

These string blocks are hot off the sewing machine.
My guild contributed some 6.5 inch string blocks,
with brights/mediums and light strings
and I made enough to get 20 12.5 inch diamonds.
I put them together in colourways
and threw them on the design wall this morning.
I've already moved some around since this photo.

I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced

I like how the darks are on one side and the lights on the other.

They look great! I especially like the varigated creamy strings for the light sides of the block. A nice alternative to a solid triangle! cheers.

Beautiful! Reminds me of summer time, especially of kites!

Very nice. Relaxing and vibrant at the same time. I may copy this.
