Another vintage quilt in the collection of some friends.
This one has a backing, but no batting, except for maybe a layer of fabric.
This one has Depression-era fabrics.
I like the alternating blades in this fan quilt.

Those quilts with backing but no batting are what we used to call "summer quilts". This quilt is a beauty! Does it have any quilting on it? Thanks for sharing these wonderful old quilts!
