Chronically quilting

I've teased you with these letters I've been making
using different free motion filler designs.
Above are letters before binding.
And no, they don't spell anything.

Here they are in the show where I was the feature quilter.
Still can't make out the word?
I couldn't get all 10 letters in one shot.
Each of these little quilts measures 8.5 by 11 inches,
the size of a piece of typing or copy paper.

Can you read it now?
I know the second letter is hard to read.
It's an "h"
c-h-r-o-n-
i-ci-t-y

Chronicity.
The noun version of being chronic.
As when my chiropractor says of my neck and back issues:
"It's time to think of chronicity."

Chronicity could also refer to the repeated quilting motifs in fmq
or the repeated letters
or the fact that quilters keep making quilts
even when they already have lots.

I used a bunch of Kona greens in this, with a few repeats.
Each one is bound with the fabric from the one before it,
although in the above photo, I've mixed up the C quilts.

I'm putting these in my sewing room
to remind me of some of the possibile fills I could use.

Another benefit of chronicity:
These took only a few minutes to make!

I'm linking up with other Friday finishers
at Amanda's blog and at the TGIFF link-up.

Just visiting for the first time, via TGIFF and wow, I love these. What a great way of playing with FMQ. I usually handquilt but could face playing on something this size. And green is my favourite colour. They look so cool all hung together.

Bravo! What an accomplishment. The greens are great, too.

What a fun way to make samples of quilting, and how to display them!

Very pretty quilting. I'm just trying my hand at FMQ on my domestic machine. (You are my idol at this point.)
