Future works in progress

Consider these future works in progress

or fabric without a plan yet.

I bought these six metres of 24 inch wide woven fabric

Complete with a spot to cut it apart

for six bucks at a thrift shop.

I was thinking table runner

or messenger bags.

But the fringed parts are a full three metres apart.

Is this intended for some sort of wrap or ethnic costume?

Another future WIP: these Kaffe scraps, the only fabric

that came home from me from a weekend quilt show.

As well as this yard of lightweight foam for laptops or totebags,

and a book by Wendy Hill, and a flower wool felt pincushion.
