One of the best parts of a quilt retreat is sharing ideas and finishes
with the other quiltmakers.
This year we had an informal show and tell beside our workstations.
I didn't photograph nearly all of the quilts, but here are a few:
Anne's New Zealand quilt, showcasing fabrics she bought in NZ.
Here's a close-up. Double click to view it larger.
This is Irene's star quilt that she was working on last year,
using only one fabric, which she featured on the border.
I like the colour momveent on this ribbon quilt.
Val (right) worked on this quilt for several retreats.
Her sister Loretta (left) send her a box of 40 tiny paper pieced blocks
in honour of her 40th birthday.
Val sorted them by colourway
and figured out how to put them together.

One of the quilters brought vintage linens to sell
Here Heidi, the vintage quilt doctor, is holding up the dresden plate
she's taking home to love.
I like the diamonds around the edge of the blades.
Audrey finished a sampler top from previous guild challenges.
My wonky star is the one at the bottom left.

Being inspired by others is one of the great things about retreats. Thanks for sharing these, and I hope you have more yet. And that's my sunflower/sun block at the top left of Audrey's quilt!
Wow..surprised to see my find on your blog. It is draped over my banister while I am deciding what to do. Please check out this scanned vintage quilt fabric. You might have fun with it!
