Little Red Riding Hood and some finishes

Day four of quilt camp brought some significant finishes
After more than two days of struggling with velvet and taffeta, Kathy completed this cape for her daughter, who will wear it at her wedding in October

a close up of the closure

I quilted and bound this little baby quilt, made from printed blocks given to me

I also finished quilting and binding this scrappy baby quilt. Sorry for the bad lighting here. I stitched in the ditch of the sashing and then free-motioned a flower in each block.

Here's the back: a large gingham check. If you click on the above picture, you can see the flowers.

Only one day left at quilt camp and then I put my sewing machines and fabrics back upstairs into my sewing corner.. It's been a great week!

Wow! What a productive week. I thought you were sewing by yourself, but it looks like you had company. How fun! I wish I could send my hubby away for a week or two and have quilt camp here! I like all your projects. I especially like your baby quilt. Happy Quilting!
