Packing up for quilt camp

The laundry is drying and the camper is getting packed up

Ready for a week's adventure

No telling what might erupt

or what beauty we'll see this week.

But although my family is hitting the road

I'm staying right here, operating the machinery

small....

and big....

At Scraps and Strings first ever quilt camp.

Starting Monday, while my guys are gone camping for real,

 I'm cranking up the A/C
and setting up machines on my whole main floor

I'll be putting together blocks

Playing with new fabrics....

and putting together some birthday B's

or patching together bits and pieces.

It's a fabric fantasia all week....
and we're not sweeping up the threads until Friday night.

Although I enjoy camping out in our old VW
(a 1985 Westfalia camper in nice condition, but no A/C for those Westy fans out there)
....I'm really looking forward to the adventures of quilt camp.

Stay tuned!

Sounds like fun to me!!! The quilting, not the camping. I love the great out of doors, and that's why I love it. It's out of doors. Keep us posted on your adventures.

It sounds like a wonderful week and I'm glad to hear you will take advantage of the whole house, a little mini sweat shop! The only camping I like is in a luxury hotel.

It sure sounds like fun. I had 4 days alone with all the same plans but found myself sitting with a book most of the time. It was wonderful but I didn't get anything done. Next time I will do better. Have fun.
