I made a few quilted postcards from a fun Christmas scrap.
These women are busy preparing for Christmas
but I have to say they're much more fashionably dressed than I am when I'm running around the city on my holiday errands.
I gave these away to members of my quilt guild, but we had a small group this week, so not everyone got theirs.
I also played with some girly flannel prints to make some blankets for my cousin's newborn twins. I quilted large flowers on them to keep the two layers together.

Love the postcards brenda! how fun!
I just love that Christmas fabric. I made some postcards with it too. I had a little bit of that fabric and searched all over the internet for some more without any luck. Then I went on a little quilt shop road trip with some friends. As we set off in the car, I said I would be looking for those Xmas girls. I found it in the very first shop we went into!! They didn't have too much so I bought the rest of the bolt. It was less than 2 yards but still so darn cute! Love your postcards!
Oh! How fun! I love the idea of quilted postcards - too clever!
Oooo what fun postcards! 8-)
I'm sure your cousin will appreciate your blankets for her babes...
Those postcards are adorable. And I love the blanket fabric. Good idea to quilt the layers together. I always just made them a single layer with hemmed edges, but I like your idea.
Nice job on your postcards and your cousin will love the blankets you made.
How cute, Brenda! I love your very stylish little Christmas shopping ladies!
