Lost in the sewing room?

I need 36 blocks for my spiderweb quilt, and so far I have 35 and a half. Where's the other half? Lost somewhere in my sewing room, although I have looked everywhere. I know I have them since this pattern is first cut in 12.5 inch squares, which are cut corner to corner to make the four triangles, and then sewn back together when the strings are pieced on.
These are the last nine blocks to sew together, and then I'm taking all the blocks to my quilt retreat on Friday and putting the whole top together. That is, if I can find those last two triangles. They've got to be somewhere.....

happy hunting...it will probably show up in the strangest place. I am missing my 6" square ruler

The best trick is to sew two new ones - after that you will find the missing ones immediately. ;-)
I like your blocks! That will become a lovely quilt.

I think there is a black hole of patterns, fabrics and rulers in my sewing room. I lose something, go looking for it, find something I lost last week, it goes on and on. Good luck. Lovely quilt by the way.

good luck searching! I hope it turns up! Pieces have falling off my wall from the kitchen sink quilt, and I pull my hair out, after it took me so long to lay it all out!!! These look so great with the red!!! I love it!

Happy block hunting! I have lost blocks in the past too. The good news is that they show up sooner or later. (Usually after you've made their replacements.)This quilt looks great! Happy quilting!

You made me laugh out loud. I was laying out my applique and of course some parts were missing. Of course I found them days later after replacing them. I'm sure your triangles will find their way home.

as someone before me said "It's not here either" lol...you're just like this friend of mine Kathy - she always loses one block or one piece - everytime it's so funny LOL
