Below left are the six new ones I've made so far, to add to the 21 I already had. I'm aiming for 36, and I have lots of strings left in the bin. funny how this doesn't seem to make a dent in the string bin.

I really like all of the different background colors.
I have trouble with the scrap bag muliplying too. I think when we fluff it up to find the next string it makes it look fuller. But if we had all of those pieces neatly folded and in piles we wouldn't want to disturb them.
I like the background colors too! It really makes your quilt just sizzle! You have a wonderful collection of strings.
Gorgeous. I love the red outlines.
I thought I had the only scrap bag that multiplied like rabbits! seems to be a problem for others, too!
I like the neutrals in the background,, gives me ideas!
thanks for sharing

I didn't notice the different background colours until I read all the comments. i was busy admiring the other colours.
LOVE it, LOVE it, LOVE it!
I'm made 80 copies of the pattern for string/paper piecing - I have NO IDEA when I can get one done, but I'm ready when the mood strikes. Thanks for YOUR inspiration!!!
I love how the red emphazises both the stars and the webs.
So lovely! I love how you used the reds to frame the cobwebs. And the use of red gives it a relaxed christmas feel, too.
Wish you a merry christmas and a happy new & creative year!!!
These are great. Love each block and when the are all put together. Didn't you know that at night scraps/strings reproduce except for your very favorite fabrics.
whee, those are the kind of cobwebs to have! wonderful.
gorgeous!
Wonderful! Love those "new" scraps! I still just keep smiling at mine. As soon as the holidays are over I can sew again. Hope you're feeling well, Brenda!
Beautiful blocks! I know what you mean about the scraps. They continue to grow in that pile and it never seems to reduce in size.
