Thanks to all of you for your comments on the black sashing in the post below. Some of you suggested a light sashing. I tried a medium instead because I don't have a light close at hand. Even though I'm not really a pink person, I'm liking how this dusty pink works with the marbled background fabric.
Here's another look at the pink, versus a yellow background (at the bottom), which I think is wrong, wrong, wrong! If I went with pink, what about black for the borders?

Love the blocks and think the pink is sooo much nicer. Black borders would frame nicely (to softer "rose" black)

Hmmm.. I prefer the black, but the pink is a close 2nd.
I'm not a pink person either and usually love black, but the pink beautifully enhances these blocks. Maybe a black border would be overwhelming? What about smaller bits of black, such as sashing posts and/or a narrow inner border before the final outer border?
