Baskets of questions
I contributed two blocks to this basket quilt which is traveling across Canada to raise funds for Mennonite Central Committee. Can you tell which ones I've made?
I have other questions too. How do I temporarily stop following blogs during vacation? I don't want to come back with hundreds of posts to read. I was away from my computer for 48 hours this week and came home to 82 new posts on Google reader. Is there a way to suspend my subscriptions? Thanks for your help.

I'm guessing the left one on the middle row and second from the left on the bottom row. They seem to be the wonky ones. I use Bloglines but I can "mark all as read" if it looks too daunting and just start over.
if you're using google reader, keep your subscriptions, and then when you get home, open the reader itself (I get there fast and easily by hitting the "subscribe button on my web browser toolbar). Then simply "mark all as read" at the top of the main panel...
Have a great holiday!
The "mark as read" is the way to go... but that's only for those other blogs. I know you'll want know what happened with your favorites while you were gone, right? :snerk:
I was wondering the same thing. I'm not sure "mark as read" is the answer. If you find another solution let me know. We have some long trips ahead and I don't what to lose my readers or contact with blog friends.
Love the basket quilt!
My guess is basket 1 in row 3 and basket 2 in row 5. They add a lot to the overall design of the quilt.
Great choices. Hugs, Finn
what a great idea for a fund raiser. Have a wonderful vacation
hmm, actually pretty easy to spot your baskets!!!
Let's see ... you made the fun ones?!?!
I just got back from a week away and had a zillion things on google reader -- I just skip through and "mark as read" or skim through the posts, depending on how overwhelmed I'm feeling. Blogging is supposed to be fun, not a chore.
