Selvages and secrets

I've finally finished two tea cozies I made weeks back, hemming them with selvages (no double fold binding needed -- just sew along the raw edge, flip it over and machine stitch on the finished edge) and just when I did that, a package of selvages came in the mail from Cheri. Thanks so much for sending them my way!
Below is what I've really been working on. I just have to finish the binding and then send this little project sewn from solids on to it intended recipient, who I think visits here occasionally, so I won't post pix of the whole thing until it is gifted. Here's just a little handquilting and colour to tease you.

what a great range in solid colours you've shown... it'll be great to see the whole project revealed in the days to come :-)

Great tea cozy finishes. I am always threatening to make a tea cozy. I have a teapot collection, and it would be fun to add this to my collection. I would like one that would fit one of my teapots that I actually use for making tea, too. I had my hands on a knitted one a while back, but someone talked me out of it!

Solids have been percolating in my mind for a while. This just feeds the fire! :)
