Spare parts

I got out all the spare parts and leftover blocks from my parts drawer and laid them out on my cutting table. I don't have a plan for any of these. They could be part of a larger quilt, or decorative elements on a bag or maybe a tea cozy.

Here are two baskets not included in my Basket of News quilt because they were the only ones that weren't red, black or white. But I still like them, and I'll try to find another use for them.

Here's a wide view of what I've got. At the top left are some letters from my 2 B quilt and a bunch of red and black crumb blocks. After I took the photos, I put them all back in the drawer. I'm waiting for another day for inspiration on this stuff.

It would be interesting and challenging to combine all those blocks into one quilt. I'll be watching to see if you manage it.

What size are those marvelous basket blocks? I could see them easily becoming Priority Quilts if they're not too large...

You have lots of possiblities there to play with ~ enjoy!!
