Left kidney gone, one kidney left

Photo from Wikipedia
Today my friend Carol is donating her left kidney to someone she doesn't know.
Isn't that an amazing statement?
She's starting a chain reaction of kidney tranplants
that will ultimately result in four people in Canada getting new kidneys
and being able to live their lives without regular dialysis.
I'm so proud of Carol and what she's doing.
You can read her blog here outlining her journey.
What she is doing is more than a random act of kindness.
It's living a life of generosity.
If you have a moment today,
send up some warm thoughts to Carol
and all the other people who will benefit from her generosity.

At one time I wanted to donate my kidney, but I have high blood pressure and I think that is a bad thing, meaning I could not donate.

That is fabulous. Carol is truly an angel. My mom gave a kidney to her brother when I was in high school. So I know a little of what Carol is doing and it is huge!!!!
