I'm working hard on finishing a big writing project,
so I haven't spent much time playing with fabric.
I did manage to make four breast pockets for
Brooklyn artist Melanie Testa in her quest to collect 1,000
by yesterday.
Two of mine are made from vintage linen hankerchiefs and napkins
and the other two are from scraps on my sewing table.

I do believe that IF faced with the decision, I would go "flat" . . . and while I didn't know about her project, I do now. I hope to get a couple of pockets together and in the mail yet this week!
