Christmas Tree Table runners
33 by 14 (with gold binding)
38 by 11 (with green)
machine pieced and quilted
These are finished and donated to a
charity Christmas craft sale.
In the close-ups, you can see the variety of prints I used in the trees,
including cauliflower and peppers above
and some bright prints below.
Click on any photo to get close-ups of the machine quilting.
I made them reversible with a Christmas print on the back.
The table runners were sparked by a small challenge in my guild:
use someone else's unwanted fabric and/or tools
and make something for charity.
I started with the Tri Recs rulers and the green and red prints.
I went a bit wilder with this one,
still not quilted.
In total, I made three red and green ones,
plus the wild one above.
and all the other Friday finishes.
If you live in Winnipeg, my runners are at tomorrow's Christmas sale
at the Mennonite Central Committee offices,134 Plaza Drive.
If you're visiting from Blogathon Canada, enter the giveaway here.
I'll pick the winner during the Grey Cup game.
