Puzzle box, that is. Actually a Singer folding box, once full of attachments.
It dates back to 1899.
I'm re purposing it into another type of sewing box.
My son sanded off the original finish
and I removed the 100 and some year-old purple velvet.
Since this box has lost its original fittings,
I'm not worried about changing it.
Stay tuned.
It looks different already!

I have a couple of these puzzle boxes. One with attachments one without. Looking forward to seeing your upgrade.
I can't wait to see yours. I have one of those waiting for inspiration too.
