'Tis the season for finishes

Three candlemats from handdyed fabrics, made from leftover triangles
passed on by Cheryl after she finished a quilt

Because they were leftover triangles,
not all the colours match up,
but I think the free motion quilting unifies these two

This is one is going back to Cheryl to thank her for the triangles.
Each mat measures about 10 by 12 inches.

Here's the back: a hand dyed one on top,
and two Kaffe prints.

My newest friend C. with a baby quilt I made her.
She's a much anticipated sister to three older brothers.

I finished two baby quilts before C's birth.
This interlocking windmill was the one I intended to give her,
but I decided to make a pinker one just in case.

I outline the centre diagonal of windmills,
but quilted in diagonals on the rest of the quilt.

Now I'm ready for the next baby,
whoever that might be!

I'm linking up with Amanda today.
